It appears that Mavericks superstar Dirk Nowitzki has more than a lingering
knee injury to worry about these days.
According to a report Wednesday on MyFoxDFW.com, Nowitzki has a pair of
unhappy workers protesting in front of his Dallas home.
The two allege that they were never paid for work they did last May.
Carrying signs that stated: "Sub-Contractors have not been paid for work
completed on this property," the men protested outside of Nowitzki's mansion.
"Trying to get paid," Protester Greg Musgrove said. "Swimming pool
remodeling."
The story stated that Dallas police were called to remove the men, but they
determined the protesters were not breaking any laws.
"They are protesting in a lawful manner," Sgt. Ledbetter told MyFOXDFW. "We
have explained the rules of the protest to them and they have agreed they are
going to comply."
It was also reported that a representative for the Mavericks said neither
Nowitzki nor the team had any comment.
Dirk
Sgt. Ledbetter
